New implant aims to speed rib fracture recovery

Summary
This study looks at how safe and effective the RibFix Titan™ system is for repairing broken ribs or chest wall injuries. About 54 adults who need surgery to fix their ribs will take part. Researchers will check if any patients need another surgery within 90 days and ask about pain and physical function.
