New combo therapy aims to shrink hard-to-treat sinus cancers before surgery

Summary

This study is for people with a type of sinus cancer called sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma. It compares standard chemotherapy alone to chemotherapy plus an immunotherapy drug (cemiplimab) given before surgery. The goal is to see if adding immunotherapy helps shrink tumors more and improves long-term outcomes. About 108 adults with stage III or IV disease will take part.
