First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested three types of chemical peels (50% glycolic acid, 30% salicylic acid, and modified Jessner's) in 90 adults with mild to moderate facial acne and post-acne dark spots. Participants received peels and were monitored for improvements in acne severity and pigmentation. The goal was to see which peel works best and is safest for treating both active breakouts and leftover marks.
