Summary
This study compares how well ChatGPT-5 and anesthesiologists can predict whether a patient will need intensive care after surgery, using only information collected before the operation. About 938 adults having planned surgeries will be included, and their actual ICU admissions will be tracked. The goal is to see if AI can help make these predictions more accurate and consistent, without changing any patient care.
