New tech aims to tame blood sugar in High-Risk dialysis patients
NCT ID NCT06641765
Summary
This study is testing whether using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) can help diabetic patients on dialysis better manage their blood sugar levels. It compares three groups: standard finger-prick checks, using a CGM part-time, or using a CGM full-time over nine months. The goal is to see if more detailed glucose data helps doctors adjust treatments to keep patients in a healthy range more often and reduce dangerous lows.
