NCT ID NCT05941286
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether alerts from continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) help improve blood sugar control in adults with type 1 or 2 diabetes who need intensive insulin therapy while in the hospital. Over 500 participants were randomly assigned to use CGM with alerts or without. The main goal was to see if alerts increased the time blood sugar stayed in a healthy range (70-180 mg/dL).
