Study investigates hidden muscle weakness in kids with cystic fibrosis
NCT ID NCT06812793
Summary
This study aimed to understand if children with cystic fibrosis (CF) have different muscle strength and endurance compared to healthy children. Researchers measured the endurance of core, leg, and breathing muscles in 48 children, including those with CF and healthy peers. The goal was to gather knowledge about how CF affects the body beyond the lungs, which could help inform future care.
