Can a tiny drain stop C-Section infections?

NCT ID NCT07395518

Summary

This study is testing whether placing a small, temporary drain under the skin helps prevent wound infections after a cesarean section. It will compare infection rates in 86 women who receive the drain versus those who do not. The goal is to find a simple way to improve recovery for mothers with thicker abdominal tissue.
