Zapping PTSD away? firefighters test home brain device
NCT ID NCT06203717
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether active-duty firefighters could use a home brain stimulation device called CES. Researchers wanted to see if using the device for four weeks was practical for firefighters and if it might help reduce feelings of depression, anxiety, and fatigue. The goal is to explore a potential new tool to prevent PTSD in first responders who face high-stress jobs.
