Summary
This early study tests a new surgical procedure that connects lymph nodes in the neck to veins, aiming to help the brain drain harmful proteins linked to Alzheimer's. Ten people with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's will receive the surgery and be monitored for safety and any changes in thinking, memory, and daily function over two years. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and shows promise for slowing or improving symptoms.
