Mothers and daughters unite in kenyan fight against cervical cancer
NCT ID NCT06411938
Summary
This program aims to prevent cervical cancer in a region of Kenya by screening adult women and vaccinating young girls against HPV, the virus that causes the cancer. It works directly in communities to overcome barriers like travel distance and lack of education that have kept screening and vaccination rates very low. The study will enroll 300 more women to strengthen the program and gather feedback from both mothers and daughters to understand what works and what doesn't.
