Scientists test supercharged immune cells to fight skin cancer

Summary
This trial is testing an experimental cell therapy for people with metastatic melanoma that has spread. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells from a tumor, grow them in large numbers in a lab, and then infuse them back into the patient. The study is also testing whether adding the drug pembrolizumab makes this cell therapy more effective at shrinking tumors.
