Scientists bank Cancer-Fighting cells for future patients
NCT ID NCT03226704
Summary
This study collects white blood cells from people with certain leukemias or lymphomas that have not been cured by standard treatments. The cells are collected through a 4-6 hour blood filtering process called leukapheresis and then frozen. The goal is to have these cells ready and stored for potential future use in advanced CAR T-cell therapy trials if the participant becomes eligible.
