Could an arthritis drug boost cancer therapy? new trial aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07632235
First seen Jun 09, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding the anti-inflammatory drug celecoxib to standard immunotherapy and chemotherapy can help people with a specific type of advanced bile duct cancer. About 112 adults whose tumors have a certain marker (CK5/6) will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard treatment or the standard treatment plus celecoxib. The goal is to see if the combination slows cancer growth and improves response rates.
