First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested a treatment using specially engineered immune cells (CD19 CAR T cells) in 20 adults with a type of blood cancer called B-cell lymphoma that had come back or not responded to standard therapy. The cells were given in three doses over three days. The goal was to see if the treatment was safe and could help control the cancer. While it may reduce or eliminate the cancer, patients may still need ongoing monitoring or additional treatment.
