Summary
This study tested a special sleep therapy program designed for night-shift nurses who have trouble sleeping. Sixty nurses in Oregon took part to see if the program could help them fall asleep easier and feel less tired during the day. The program was based on cognitive behavioral therapy, a type of talk therapy that changes sleep habits and thoughts about sleep.
