Summary

This study aims to see if adding extra support to a standard insomnia therapy can better reduce chronic low back pain. Researchers are testing whether combining cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia with either a meditation practice or pain education leads to greater pain reduction. The study involves 300 adults who have both chronic back pain and long-term insomnia.
