What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
cannabidiol (CBD) dissolved in castor oil
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a new, natural option for managing knee osteoarthritis pain without the side effects of current medicines.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study with only 30 people, so results may not apply to everyone. It's too early to know if CBD is truly effective for knee pain.
