Summary

This study tested whether a single injection of steroid medicine given during cataract surgery works as well as standard steroid eye drops to control swelling and inflammation afterward. 72 adults aged 50 and older having routine cataract surgery took part. The goal was to see if the injection could simplify treatment and improve patient comfort.
