Quick visual briefing may ease cataract surgery recovery
NCT ID NCT07383168
Summary
This study tested whether a specific, brief visual presentation method (Pecha Kucha) given to patients before cataract surgery could improve their recovery experience. 61 patients were randomly assigned to receive this special education or standard care. Researchers measured recovery quality using a standard questionnaire to see if the new teaching approach made patients feel more comfortable and supported after their operation.
