Summary
This study tested a computer tutorial called CatInfo, designed to help patients learn about cataract surgery before talking to their doctor. Researchers wanted to see if patients who used the tutorial understood the surgery better and if it made the required consent conversation with the doctor faster. They compared 90 patients who used the tutorial to those who did not.
