New cataract lens aims for clear vision at every distance

Summary
This study tested a new artificial lens (AT ELANA 841P) for people having cataract surgery. The goal was to see if it safely improves vision at near, far, and in-between distances better than a standard lens. 284 adults received the new lens in one eye and a standard lens in the other, and were followed for 6 months after surgery.
