First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study aims to find out why some people do not return for follow-up visits after cataract surgery in rural and semi-rural India. Researchers will look at data from about 120 vision centers and talk to staff and patients. Then they will work with low-performing centers to test new ways to improve follow-up, like reminders and better counseling. The goal is to create a practical plan that can be used in other vision centers to help more people keep their eyes healthy after surgery.
