Summary
This study looks at whether giving monthly cash payments to low-income residents changes how much they spend on health care. Researchers are using data from a program in Chelsea, Massachusetts, that randomly gave cash to some residents during the pandemic. About 3,600 people are included, and the goal is to see if extra money leads to different health care choices.
