Cash payments fight child hunger in somalia

NCT ID NCT06642012

Summary

This study tested whether giving monthly cash payments to families in food-insecure areas of Somalia, along with nutrition education, could prevent malnutrition in young children and their mothers. Researchers compared different combinations of cash assistance to see which was most effective and affordable. The study involved over 3,300 children under 5 and their mothers, measuring their health over 6 months.
