Stem cell gel could regrow knee cartilage and ease arthritis pain

Summary
This study tests a stem cell gel called CARTISTEM for people with knee cartilage damage and osteoarthritis. About 300 adults aged 18 to 75 who have not improved with standard treatments will receive either the stem cell gel or a simple cleaning procedure. The goal is to see if the gel reduces pain and improves knee function over two years, and whether it can slow arthritis progression.
