First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested whether an injection of a lab-made protein (rhFGF1) can reduce pain and improve hand function in people with carpal tunnel syndrome. Twenty-four adults with mild to moderate symptoms received the injection and were followed for six months. The goal was to see if this regenerative approach could be a safe alternative to surgery or steroid shots.
