Sugar-Water injections tested for wrist pain relief

NCT ID NCT07207460

Summary

This study compared three different ways to inject a sugar-water solution around a pinched nerve in the wrist to treat carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers tested 74 adults with mild to moderate symptoms to see if ultrasound-guided or traditional 'blind' injection techniques worked better. The goal was to reduce pain and numbness and improve hand function without surgery.
