Summary

This study tested three ways to inject a sugar-water solution (5% dextrose) around the nerve in the wrist to treat carpal tunnel syndrome. 74 adults with mild to moderate carpal tunnel received one of three injection methods: guided by ultrasound or a blind technique. The goal was to see which method best reduced pain, tingling, and numbness and improved hand function over 3 months.
