Hidden stroke risk in youth? new study scans thousands of young adults

Summary

This study uses ultrasound to check how often a rare neck artery condition called a carotid web appears in young people aged 15 to 25. The condition can raise the risk of stroke even in otherwise healthy individuals. Researchers will scan about 829 volunteers to find out how common it really is.
