Summary

This study is looking at whether the texture of the carotid artery wall, seen on an ultrasound, can help predict the risk of heart problems in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will compare ultrasound images from 80 adults with and without diabetes. The goal is to find a better way to identify who needs extra preventive care.
