First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a liquid carob extract can improve blood sugar control in 70 adults with prediabetes. Participants are randomly assigned to take either the extract or a placebo, and their blood sugar and insulin levels are measured over time. The goal is to see if the extract can help manage glucose levels and potentially prevent progression to type 2 diabetes.
