Do kids stay Cavity-Free after major dental work? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07330570

Summary

This study aims to understand the long-term tooth decay risk in children who had extensive dental work done under general anesthesia several years ago. Researchers will check the oral health of at least 44 children who had this surgery between 2015 and 2020. They will use a special computer model to assess each child's current risk for new cavities by looking at their teeth, saliva, diet, and home care habits.
