Summary
This study aims to understand how the stress of caring for a loved one with a chronic illness affects a caregiver's own health and well-being over several years. Researchers will follow 2,800 caregivers, conducting surveys, interviews, and collecting blood samples annually for up to five years. The goal is to learn about the social, psychological, and biological impacts of long-term caregiving to better support caregivers in the future.
