New study aims to ease trauma of cancer treatment removal

Summary
This study looks at how to make the removal of brachytherapy implants more comfortable and less distressing for women being treated for gynecologic cancer. Researchers will track PTSD symptoms and side effects in 36 participants. The goal is to find better ways to support patients during this part of their treatment.
