Summary

This study looked at how the heart and lungs work in people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and how that relates to post-exertional malaise (PEM), a worsening of symptoms after activity. 106 participants completed two days of maximal exercise tests. The goal was to better understand the body's response to exercise in this condition.
