Scientists hunt for hidden keys to heart recovery success
NCT ID NCT07328789
Summary
This study aims to discover why some people recover better than others after heart surgery and cardiac rehab. Researchers will follow 150 patients aged 50-80 after bypass surgery, measuring their physical fitness, mental health, sleep, and body chemistry at three points over several months. The goal is to identify which factors predict a successful, lasting recovery to help create more personalized rehab programs in the future.
