First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at how much carbon dioxide is released during routine nursing care after childbirth. Researchers will measure the carbon footprint of care for both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Then, 24 nurses will receive special training to see if it helps them reduce waste and energy use. The goal is to make postpartum care more environmentally friendly.
