Colombia launches first CAR-T trial for relapsed blood cancers

Summary
This study aims to bring a personalized cell therapy called CAR-T to Colombia for people with certain blood cancers that have come back or not responded to treatment. The therapy involves modifying a patient's own immune cells to attack cancer. The trial will check if it is safe and possible to produce these cells locally. About 12 adults will take part, and they will be monitored for side effects and how well the treatment works.
