First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This early-phase study tested a new treatment called LCAR-G08, which uses a patient's own immune cells (CAR-T cells) to attack a protein found on certain advanced gastrointestinal tumors. The study involved 17 adults with cancers like colorectal, gastric, or pancreatic cancer that had not responded to other treatments. The main goals were to check safety and find the right dose, but the study was stopped early.
