New 'Super' immune cell therapy tested for tough liver cancers

Summary
This is an early-stage safety study testing a new type of personalized immune cell therapy for patients with advanced liver cancer. The therapy, called Super CAR-T, involves collecting a patient's own immune cells, modifying them in a lab to better target their cancer, and then infusing them back. The main goal is to find a safe dose and understand side effects in a small group of patients who have already tried other standard treatments.
