Engineered immune cells take aim at Hard-to-Treat solid tumors

NCT ID NCT07266311

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests whether a patient's own immune cells, modified to target the CLDN18.2 protein, can safely shrink advanced solid tumors. About 18 adults whose cancer has not responded to standard treatments will receive a single infusion of these CAR T-cells. The study focuses on side effects and whether tumors shrink or stop growing.
