First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a new treatment made from umbilical cord blood cells, called CD19-BCMA CAR-T cells, in 45 people with severe lupus, scleroderma, or Sjogren's syndrome with lung complications. The main goal is to check safety, especially serious side effects within the first month. Researchers will also look at how well the disease responds over the next few months to years.
