Engineered immune cells take on rare thymus cancers

NCT ID NCT07598955

First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new treatment using specially engineered immune cells (CAR-NK cells) to attack cancer cells in adults with thymoma or thymic carcinoma that has come back or not responded to standard therapy. About 36 participants will receive one of three types of CAR-NK cells based on their tumor's markers. The goal is to check safety and find the best dose, while also looking at how well the treatment shrinks tumors.
