Dietary supplement tested to stop painful breast implant hardening
NCT ID NCT06785610
Summary
This study is testing whether a dietary supplement called Capsulase can prevent capsular contracture, a painful hardening of scar tissue that can form around breast implants after mastectomy. Researchers will give the supplement to 100 women who have just received implant-based breast reconstruction and track their results for one year. They will compare these results to historical data from similar patients who did not take any supplement.
