First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests if a cream made with a special form of capsaicin (the stuff that makes chili peppers hot) can reduce foot pain in people with diabetic nerve damage. About 80 adults with diabetic foot pain will apply the cream or a placebo twice a day for 14 days and rate their pain. The goal is to find a treatment that works with few side effects.
