Summary
This study tested a program called CAPABLE in 268 older adults who had recently been in the hospital. The program included help with medications, strength and balance exercises, pain management, and home modifications. The goal was to see if these services could improve their ability to walk, bathe, and do daily tasks. Results showed that participants needed less help with daily activities after the program.
