Summary
This study looked at two different needle designs used in a procedure called radiofrequency ablation to treat chronic low back pain from the facet joints. 82 adults with long-lasting back pain were randomly assigned to receive the treatment with either a standard needle or a special sidekick needle. The goal was to see which needle provided better pain relief and improved daily function.
