Summary
This study aims to understand how a person's cannabis use affects the amount of anesthesia they need during back surgery and their recovery afterward. Researchers will observe 210 adults having lumbar spine surgery, comparing those who use cannabis to those who don't. They will track anesthesia doses, pain levels, and markers of inflammation to help create safer, personalized surgery plans for cannabis users.
