Cannabis extract trial offers hope for untreatable seizures
NCT ID NCT07403266
Summary
This study is testing whether a full-spectrum cannabis extract called YCJ-01 can safely reduce the number of seizures in people with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) whose epilepsy does not respond to standard treatments. It will involve 84 participants, aged 2 to 65, who have frequent seizures. The main goal is to see if the treatment significantly cuts down seizure frequency compared to a placebo.
